Hard to see all these veterans getting cut but this one definitely makes sense. He was injured most of last year with the year before that being a very up and down year for him. Still has a lot to offer any team he goes to but I see him more as a rotational guy at this point in his career than that of an every down starter on defense.

Getting old in the NFL sucks. Tons of vets who gave it all for their teams getting cut, many of them after suffering injuries they are rehabbing from.

Docket said he would be playing at Arizona one way or another. Which implies he'll be signing with a division rival. Would not mind seeing him in the DL rotation for the Seahawks, at the right price of course.

This was the right move. The door is still open for him to return if he finds out that he is not as valuable as he thinks he is. But if he is just thinking about money, I am sure one of the bottom feeder teams with a lot of money to spend will overpay him.

Shoot the 49ers can't afford him and I doubt the Seahawks could either, but I'm crossing my fingers, because you never know when it comes to the Seahawks.
