"Well first I checked to see if the keys were in the ignition and they were. So then I honked the horn and it honked. Plus RA pretty much sounds smart and he mentioned it would be a fuel pump."

I've heard of people doing that. It's like when stage 4 beater sets in. aka Rust Bucket. Chances are good one of the doors, a fender, or the hood are not the same color as the rest of it.

LOL at making sparks around a gas tank.

Actually, no not at all, it's a very nice well kept vehicle. He's put 3 fuel pumps in that sumbitch, I don't know if he or his kids run the thing out of gas regularly or what, he just got tired of pulling the tank.

I think the last time he did it the tank was full, so I could understand his frustrations, manipulating a full gas tank would be a bastage.

He did a good job with fab work, made a plate to cover the hole, sealed it with silicone and put the carpet back over it. You wouldn't know without him tellin' ya bout it.

That's a very common way for a lot of 3rd and 4th gen camaro owners to change their pumps also. I actually did that on my 90 camaro when I still had it. The guy who bought it from me didn't believe me either until I showed him. Just a lot easier way if the interior of the vehicle allows for it.

That 3.4L engine built by GM is known world wide for being one of the worst ever.

I've had 2 vehicles with that pop can of an engine in 'em.

Knock off that car mess and get yourself a truck man, make sure it's 4x4, you'll not want to be stuck with only vag mode when you see a real good 4x4 time awaits
