Orilleys will let you borrow all sorts of shit for nothing as long as you return it.

Don't know if they loan out jacks or not.

I assume you've unplugged the 02 sensor(s) and tried to start it, to eliminate them.

If you're certain it's the fuel pump, you'll have to drop the tank. I've done a few of them in my time. Takes about 3 hours. New pump is about $100 at your local auto parts store. I already gave you a list of tools you'll need. Spray the bolts with some liquid wrench about an hour before you get started so they'll free up a bit.

If you don't have a floor jack and jack stands, go to a Harbor Freight and buy some. You'll need them eventually anyway, mine as well get them now. You should be able to pick up all three for under $80 or so. Don't forget to chalk the front tires when you jack up the back to get to the tank.

You can do this.

Good luck with the pump. Not a tough job as mentioned, just take your time.

I actually like working on my cars. I just replaced an oil pump in my camaro. Mechanic wanted $1200, I did it for just under $150.

Looks like Ive got my weekend planned out

You'll feel good about it when you're done. I did my brakes last week. Cost me $50 as opposed to $450 at a Tires Inc.

How are you sure it's the fuel pump?

A couple things coming to memory.

If you turn the key to the first tick (not until the car cranks over) you should hear the pump 'whir' if it's even trying to pump.
