Was a hit from behind but he peeked and knew it was coming. As far as I am concerned a good non call.

While I am openly routing for the Caps so not completely unbiased. I agree. He looked over saw it coming and stayed in his position.

I saw two calls each side that easily could have been penalties in the 3rd. I think it came out even.

Backstrom did turn and go towards the shoulder there, too. I think that happened about a half dozen times each side tonight.

Just a fantastic response from the Caps in the last four minutes. Tough on the road and all the energy you lose when that goal goes in. They came out and got good possessions at the end and took it from New York.

I do not have a horse in the race (insert sad face) and I do favor the Caps over the Rags but that was a good no call. Awesome ending..although I would not have minded watching a OT.

That sucked, that loss will stick with me until Saturday. I have no problem with the non call especially since it was clear the refs had swallowed their whistles at that point.

Boyle should not be on the ice in the last minute of a tie game. He had plenty of time to turn and move the puck or just ice it at that point. The Rangers clearly stopped playing expecting to go to OT and the Caps played until the end, good on them.

Other than the last 5 seconds I thought we played a solid game. Definitely need more offensive production, paging Mr. Nash.

He may still be on backlog answering pages about playoff production from his Columbus days.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I don't really have any room to stand though. Zetterberg completely crapped the bed and missed a half open net in game 7 that could have changed the game.
