I still think Semin can be a great player, I just don't think in Washington. Someone will watch that highlight reel and get horny for those skills. I still think the Isles are a natural trade partner. Semin's a draw, they have room, they have moderately-talented wingers to exchange.

You don't think GMGM would have any issues trading inter-division? Seriously curious, because while the Isles aren't dangerous now, they could be relatively soon.

Didn't even consider that...and considering the scrutiny, he may. Though I imagine some GM would step up and give him decent money. I don't think he's worth anything above 5.5 though. That's just me though...I'm frugal

Don't know about that! Sens played a good game. Could have gone either way, but it's nice to see the Caps putting a few pucks in the net and playing at least decent defense.

The Sens played okay but for the most part they've played better then that throughout the season. Karlsson has definitely been better then that.

They lost because their d-zone coverage was absolutely dreadful and the 40 plus shots against is a clear indication of that. I feel like it would have been a blowout if Anderson didn't have an awesome game. Hopefully they can get that sorted out because if they don't then they're in for a tough stretch coming up.

The bright spot was Cowen though. With Kuba going down he's being given more ice time and he's really stepped up. He reminds me a lot of a young Chara and he even has the big shot. I'm very excited about the prospect of having him and Karlsson on the blue line for the next decade. Makes me kind of giddy actually.
