Hey all, haven't been on in a while but try to lurk every now and then to keep up with he gossip.

My thought on this game is our rush defense will not be able to stop Georgia. They have some excellent backs and despite Pelini's rose colored defensive schemes we would have a game on our hands with a stout defense. With the yards we've given up on the ground this game is likely to get ugly real fast.

And to make it worse I have to see shit like this:

"We've played enough of them this year, physical running backs, physical groups up front. We'll be ready for it.L) We won 10 games for a reason. It's not easy winning 10. We've got a tremendous challenge ahead of us to try to get 11."

This guy's denial is getting bigger and bigger with every blow out we have to endure.

Our inability to run will also cause Beck to try to force Martinez into situations he can't handle leading to fumbles on sacks and interceptions. The CCG will look like a battle in the trenches compared to this game.

I think NU comes out unprepared from the get-go.

Pelini will have over-schemed Georgia's offense. NU will not be able to stop the run. Georgia's QB will have all day to throw as our D line will be in "contain" mode.

Offensively Martinez will throw an early pick six on a quick out pattern, and have a fumble. He will be running for his life all night long.

So 41-17 sound about right then?

No idea really. But if I was forced to wager money, I'd put it on Georgia. I've got Georgia at 33 confidence pts.

I just don't expect NU to be prepared coming out of the locker room. It's been a pattern. We've been here before. They seem less prepared the more time they have. We've been had by the "Pelini has two weeks or four weeks to prepare a defensive scheme". "It's a big game, they'll be ready" "The seniors want this bad" yada yada.

I'm hoping for some kind of a Richt Factor here. He's been known to have those, but not as frequent as someone like Gary Pinkel.

Huskers will come out ready to go. These seniors really want this! Coaches have had plenty of time to get the run d together.

Offense should be good. Lots of play action and Taylor scrambling out of the pocket. Get some scores early on them and hold it down.

I don't know if it could even make a difference how bad anyone wanted it.......there was so much confusion between the sideline and the guys on the field Defensively that we had 6-7 guys looking the wrong way before the play ever started for the majority of the game.

I would just hope to God that a month is enough time to get our team ready to go. I didn't see guys going halfass out there....I just saw a lot of confusion which put us behind on a lot of plays.

I didn't say they would fix anything......

I just said they should be better prepared than they were for the Wisconsin game. If they aren't, then that is seriously very very sad.

I know I was getting optimistic the other night, but today I'm not drunk and I think we will get smoked........

I actually think for some reason we will come out prepared, but after a few things bounce Georgia's way, they will take a 2-score lead and then never look back.
