My prediction is Nebraska will be somewhat competitive for about one half and Georgia will pull away in the second half to the tune of 44-20. Of all of the bowl games, this may be the only lock by betting on Georgia. Since I've never bet on a Nebraska game before, I won't bet on this game either.

Just look at last year's bowl game to get a really good idea to see how this one will play out.

Nebraska hasn't been competitive in the first half against many teams with a pulse this year. Why would anyone think things would be different Jan 1st?

That being said, if NU can keep it close going into the half I like their chances.

The only reason why I think Nebraska may be competitive in the first half this time is because I'm comparing this game to last years bowl game.

Things aren't all of a sudden going to be fixed even if the first half is competitive, the end result will be a bad loss again.
