Worst Case Scenario: Mike Gillis wears a really slutty shirt. I don’t think we have too much to worry about on this one. We all know Gilman is the slutty one. How else does he get players to sign such cheap contracts?? Think about it.

lol

Manny Malhotra will march in the Vancouver 2012 Gay Pride parade, according to a release. #Canucks

Canucks' Malhotra to participate in Vancouver pride parade

Malhotra will be joined by Patrick Burke and march with players from the Vancouver Cutting Edges, billed as the only gay hockey club in Western Canada

Ive played against these guys, they tried to recruit me to play goal for them. lol I think puckhead also played for us when we played them once. before and after games their warmup and cooldown consisted of doing Pirouettes. Keep the five hole jokes to a minimum please

Just so I'm clear mooger, you don't think that swap will be consummated between the Canucks and Ducks?

I have the feeling it will be the exact length of time left in the Sedins deals (3 years or 4?) about $4M to $4.5M per year

I would think he'd want one more year than that, as he knows he'd be well down the priority list (at least 3rd) that summer

yeah, Pacioretty's deal was a pretty timely one for a comparable.
some of the other 30 goal scorers' contracts are pretty scary.
Parise = 31 goals, $7.5m
Rick Nash = 30 goals, $7.8m
Burrows = 28 goals (with minimal powerplay time)

yeah I think both player and management can agree to take him out of Parise/Nash comparisons. While Burrows is productive the Sedins DO play a part in it as he does with them. I dont think Burrows gets 30 goals on Columbus hes a product of our team as well. Id be ok with 4 years even 5 if Sedins sign a short extension to end their careers here.
