Duco does not have the typical size of a power forward but plays an in-your-face, aggressive style of hockey. He always finishes his checks and willingly drops the gloves, but can still contributing on the scoresheet and was a power play scorer in juniors and in minor league hockey.

Future

Duco is well-known to Florida coach Peter DeBoer from their time together in Kitchener. With a number of promising prospects expected to be in camp with the Panthers, Duco will likely begin the season in Rochester. His role thus far in the NHL has been as an enforcer which would merit situational call-ups. But he has some scoring ability and could be a serviceable fourth line, energy forward in the future.
