OV was mostly held quiet - one good chance in the 2nd on a PP, and a good rush late in the 3rd. Backstrom looked pretty frustrated all night. Alzner looked good.
seems many of the Caps were spending way too much time trying to draw penalties instead of playing the game. That surprised me.

OV was mostly held quiet - one good chance in the 2nd on a PP, and a good rush late in the 3rd.

one thing i noticed was when hes on every second shift late in the 3rd, watch how gassed he is ... he could barely lift his arm to complain to the ref for a non-call and then Kesler gives him a nudge in front of the net and he goes down so easily ... not diving ... he just couldnt stay up ... looks like he cant get his breath

cant help but think if he wasnt so doughy and spent less time partying and more time working on his game in the summer, we would be seeing a different player

he threw a hit at centre ice on the boards, and was pretty awkward getting to the bench.
he was getting some attention as soon as he got there.
