John Tavares gets player of the game for Canada, yet his delay of game penalty gave the States the win in OT. Slater played a good game for the States, yet Johnson scored two goals.

I'm probably in the minority here, but the delay of game puck over glass I think should be like illegal defense in the NBA - you get one warning first, in this case, treat the first offense like icing and all subsequent offenses will result in the minor penalty.

That sounds like a good idea, my only problem with it is that you know they will get their "warnings" out of the way early, and still end up with last minute power plays due to the puck over the glass rule. To me nothing kills the momentum and excitement of a close game in the waning minutes like a lame penalty call.

Canada may have some talent to close on some rushes, but they certainly haven't been a dominant team by any stretch of the imagination.
Oh well, still time to crank it up, but I expect them to kick someone's ass before it's all said and done.
US has a plucky team, but to allow them 5 goals and 46 shots??? unacceptable.

USA definitely deserved the win, Cam Ward was the main reason the game even went to OT resulting in a point for Canada.
