One player I think everyone should take a stab at late is TE Jordan Reed from the Skins. He can be had REALLY late and he is looking like a star in the making. Perfect #2 TE that can materialize into a star.

With that said I was always appreciative of the help, especially from PDay. Heres my scenario, to keep it really short I can keep one of the two following. 1. Desean Jackson OR 2. Gronkowski. Im leaning towards Gronk because it will be hard for me to root for Desean as a Skin and that there are only a handful of elite TE's. If I can sure that up, I can focus on two RBs and two WRs in the first 4 rounds. Gronk is always hurt so my question is; DESEAN or GRONK?

I also got the 6th pick which sucks. I'd rather have top 3 or bottom 2 in the first. At 6 you're looking at Marshawn or Lacy which doesn't excite me at all.

Gronk and its not close

You are going to be surprised at how early Reed goes if you think you are going to take a stab at him late.

Gronk. I love the running back that the giants picked up from raiders.

1. In all the FF mags and online drafts Jordan Reed is going in the early 100's. THats past the 10th round in must leagues.

2. Montee Ball DEFINITELY doesnt excite me. Thats a HUGE boom or BUST and to use your 1st on that type of pick is what kills your season. I think Im hoping that Calvin Johnson lasts to 6. Are you high on Montee CornHusker?

Gronk. D jax could easily struggle in a new offense this year.

Yeah, but you said "Really late" and "take a stab at late"

D Jax was a fantasy monster for me last year maybe the new system might hurt him know.......My favorite sleeper is T.Y. Hilton of the Colts. He's a hit or miss type player one week he might hit for 7 or 8 points then the next 2 he might hit for 25, but he's a great value if you can get him towards the late middle of the draft.

To be honest, I like Lacy better. Better talent and nearly as good of situation. But there is not one RB that is in a better situation to put up big stats than Ball. The formula to keep in mind: Ball>Moreno [Moreno x Denver Offense=top5].

I've read enough Detroit info that I don't feel confident enough to take Calvin that high. No Linehan, more twoback formations and less shotgun. My feeling is Calvin falls out of top5 WR pints this year.

I'm looking to draft a few Packers. And get Toby or die trying.

The fantasy football forum on the SportsHoopla is as good if not better than any magazine or TV show that one can get IMO. Those guys make Matthew Berry and Karabell look stupid.

I havent looked at a fantasy board all year but will have too soon. After the top 3 backs- AP, Charles, McCoy - I can see his reasoning for Ball . I would never take ball that high but it wouldnt surprise me if he was a top 5 scoring back this season.

Yeah, the 10th round is really late for a POTENTIAL star.

You mean Gerhardt? Im not big on white FBs on my fantasy team. I know he is listed as a HB but I dont see anything more then 750 yards... if that??

Yahoo ranks players where they've been drafted so far. Montee Ball has been selected around pick #8 and Jordan Reed has been going in the 12th via average of completed drafts.

Yeah, the 10th round is really late for a POTENTIAL star.

But that's not how you framed it. You are talking about taking him as a late backup. He will more than likely be drafted as someone's #1. Anyway, I don't think I've ever taking my #2 TE in the second round. So for a #2 TE like you stated the 10th round is way too early. But, yes I think he is gone by the end of the 10th round. That isn't the part I'm questioning.

The leagues I play in favor the QB giving them 6 points for a TD pass- so Manning Brees Rodgers will be first rounders . After the 3 top RBs, 3 qbs, Graham, Calvin Johnson- it gets dicey for me. I have never been a big fan of Forte on my fantasy team. I think both Lacy and Ball are top 10 ish

Gotta say Gronkowski as well, but be forewarned, after 9 consecutive years in the money, 2012 was a non-playoff year and I was second to the last in 2013.
