One Bronco fan said Peyton is on pace for 6,000 yards passing and 64 TD passes! I hope he was being sarcastic.

He was not being sarcastic. He is assuming that every game he will avg 381 yds and 4 tds and thats how he gets to those numbers...

381 yds and 4 tds x 16 games = 6,096 yds and 64 tds

I think its safe to say that he is dead serious

I'm pretty sure that both of you stooges know full well that his comments were an extrapolation based on a thread about other players being on track for certain seasonal statistics. But really, feel free to attempt to take the heat off the falling 49ers by absolutely making up a bullshit story about someone else.. 9er fans are going down as fast as their team these days

When you have maybe the best quarterback in the game (outside of Rodgers) playing the way he is with all those weapons on hand (DT, Welker, Decker, J. Thomas, etc) plus a big time defensive player returning mid season in Von Miller...the hype is real

The AFC is weaker than usual so I can see the criticism there with the Broncos maybe being untested for most of the regular season, but there's no doubt how great of a team they are. Whether or not they can win a superbowl will depend on how healthy they are come playoff time and if Peyton can continue playing at such a high level.

BS story? Based on Manning's stats thus far that would be the "pace". I was just informing him how he came up with the numbers... Maybe you need to relax and stop acting like you know every fan or as if you ever conversed with me before?

I would put Brady and Brees above Peyton too. Peyton does this every year. Put up great stats in the regular season against shitty teams. Then he won't show up in the playoffs. One of the most overrated QBs of all time.

yeah...the epitome of football expertise would very likely come from none other than fans of two of the worst teams in the league. keep em coming Einstein, I can smell your jealousy from here.

I love when fans like this say things like these^^^. As if a fan's team has anything to do with knowledge of football or should decide whether they can have a conversation of anything other than their own team. What a pansy ass response. Who cares what team a poster roots for? Doesn't have anything to do with the topic at hand, which is Peyton Manning. So does that mean only Denver fans can talk about Peyton? Grow the fuck up son.

yet you couldn't resist interjecting your own childish personal opinion of the poster, knowing full well that his comments were not a prognostication of actual expectations.

"I think its safe to say that he is dead serious"

again, I call bullshit on you

You girls root for DonkeyKong Sue, one of the cheapest most low life players to ever enter the NFL..yet you take cheap shots at someone like Peyton Manning, one of the few players that could rightfully be called a role model in every respect. I'm sure that disparity in behavior is run of the mill in cities like detroit and St. Louis..but we tend to expect better in the civilized world. I assure you I'm not your son.

Shouldn't the weakness of their schedule scare you more? Peyton won't have to work as hard by the time the playoffs roll around. Just saying.

:laugh3: You're lucky we don't play you sea-clowns this season, it saves you the embarrassment of getting your butt whooped.

Original, and clever. :L

You jelly?

Tell me the difference between he and John Lynch? Lynch would've been suspended in this day and age. Suh is simply a tough player in the weak form of NFL it has become.

I'm sure that disparity in behavior is run of the mill in cities like detroit

Great deflection there son. What it boils down to is you're a pompous bitch who thinks only your opinion and fans of the Broncos can have opinions on Peyton. And that's what they are....opinions. And that's a weak stance to take on your part. It really shows your own lack of debating skills when all you have to come back with is what you did. Weak son...weak.

Immediately resorting to name calling, classy NE fan. Enjoy the at least 3 game losing streak starting on Sunday, I know I will!

You call that name calling? Stop being such a lightweight, nothing like some humor to spark up an otherwise dull thread.

You can smell me? Way to be a creep about it haha

No hard feelings. The Lions suck and Peyton Manning chokes more than anyone in playoff history. It's not personal. Just the facts of life.

You have no idea how much we (or at least me) wished the Pats were on the schedule this year so we could get a good laugh at pats expense. In stead I had to settle for a avatar bet with JDM. Team that wins the most games including the playoffs wins.

Time will tell.

Oh one more thing....you mad bro?

Not at all, just having some fun, isn't that what the NFL smack-talk is about? BTW, your birds would lose their feathers if they played the Pats this season. :yahoo:
