Can colleges scrimmage other teams?

I would like to see some scrimmages in August with a lot of modified rules to limit injuries. I think it might help everyone to get the kinks out and be better prepared for the season.

I so wish they would allow offseason invitational games. Do they seriously not realize how much money a spring game or two could bring in?

No, they do that in September. It's called OOC schedule.

I made a thread a while back asking why high school players can have 7 on 7 teams but college players can't.

There are sponsored 7 on 7 tournaments everywhere in HS. NCAA should allow the same. The revenue would be great.
