Therein lies the problem, so let me ask you this. Did you wear the uniform because of your personal values or in defense of the country?
Maybe it's different where you are,but in my neck of the country, most people that I know, vote for the best interests of the country. Perhaps that's why folks across the country send morons, religious nuts, and unscrupulous carpetbaggers, to Washington, then complain about it not working.

i think me wearing the uniform had a bit of both sides sty plus a few others . i vote in the best interests of the country nationally also philosophy plays a role . i am a limited gov, pro freedom guy . i want govt to fill the role the constitution outlined for it nothing more nothing less . sometimes govt is the answer , most times it isnt

Just look at Bidens people, start with Harris, Her ONLY qualification was being black and female everything else didn't matter, so now .
You think Chie Justice William Rehnquist was qualified? How about Elana Kagen or better yet Hugo Black?
Many appointment are unqualified in to the average person but to be nominated means theres something the nominator sees and that's all that counts. So, unqualified people in your eyes, and you don't have a good argument to disqualify them, are success stories regardless of being qualified, FACT!
