Just dealt to the Rays for "future considerations". I hate that "future consideration" junk. I'm like WTF?

It's possible the PTBNL is just in case Crain's injury is worse than suspected and he doesn't pitch again this season. I'm holding my judgement until the trade is fully completed.

Crain is still on the DL and his return has been delayed by shoulder soreness that has plagued him off and on for a couple of years now. Good as he was before he got hurt, CWS wasn't in a very strong position to trade him under those circumstances.

I thought the Peavy trade was well-executed, they didn't give up much for him. The sad part is that the gamble did not pay off, as his injury concerns were very real (as you pointed out at the time).

We're in for a couple of lean years it looks like, it will be interesting to see how they rebuild the farm system and recover from KW's mistakes.

Good to see you and craig over here, hope some others make it too.
