Joe Burrow to start for LSU this weekend
BATON ROUGE - After staying mum during the season-opening luncheon with media outlets, Coach Ed Orgeron's decision on the starting quarterback was released officially by LSU in a short video clip.

On Monday, Orgeron announced he informed quarterbacks Miles Brennan and Joe Burrow which of them would be the starter against Miami Sunday. But he said he wouldn't announce it to the general public until he's informed the rest of the team. He added that the planned starter would be taking most of the reps in practice, but plans could change between now and game time.
"If he does not perform well, we have no problem putting in the second-team quarterback," Orgeron said.
It'll be Burrow this weekend.
Sports Illustrated reported the team has two solid quarterback options no matter what.
The message was delivered to the QBs face-to-face in a professional manner, and grades were presented. Burrow edged Brennan in some departments (namely decision making), but Brennan kept pace or exceeded Burrow in many others.
Sounds like #LSU has two solid options. https://t.co/n4SODTI28J
