So who's next, Lamar or Kenny Pickett?
jesus, why not both. Pickett has taken some bad hits thus far, and Lamar looked pretty damn banged up last night.

Yea there's really no fixing it. It's a brutal game. But the Bengals probably weren't going anywhere this year anyway at 5-4 in that division with their upcoming schedule.
I agree.

As it was, I figured the Bengals would have a tough time getting to the play-offs. Now at 5-5 and basically fucked in every tiebreaker scenario and with Burrow out, they're done. It sucks for Bengals supporters but also for any fan of football. Burrow is a guy that is truly fun to watch work and he's a likeable guy as well.

Thursday Night games are horrible. Both teams had bodies dropping left and right. Bengals lost Burrow for the season, Ravens lost Jackson's favorite weapon for the season. The games are usually sloppy. I can't remember the last time I watched a Thursday night game that wasn't on Thanksgiving that I felt was a great experience from a viewing aspect. Of course the games aren't going anywhere because they make a shitton of money, and now they are testing Friday nights and looking at Tuesdays. They are going to have to expand the rosters to 75 just to keep warm bodies on the bench.

And now we drink. Who-Dey

Last night was one of the best Thursday matchups I can recall... then Burrows went down and ended that.

You know what your on to something with roster expansion. If they try to have a game almost every day of the week, and if it makes the league more money they will, there going to have to make the teams bigger to offset injuries.

Increased PS squad sizes, increased PS to main roster and back allowances, and having a lower cost ST only player roster would be a more effective way to deal with an increased demand for player numbers than enlarging the main roster.

The best way to improve TNF would be if the teams involved had a bye week before it.

Rodgers, Cousins, Burrow, I'm sure I'm missing others from other positions...it diminishes the appeal. But yeah, that's also part of the appeal, the violence and risk.
Maybe they should be armed?
