My wife grabbed a sixer for me a week ago and i drank one..it was OK, I certainly won't throw the rest away. Just had to get through a couple other six packs first.

Has anyone tried the Beck's Saphir yet?? Saw that Superbowl commercial. What I have read about it is that it isn't very good...

A lot like Bud Light Platinum. Good chaser drink but not a stand alone drink you buy because it tastes great

I liked the Black Crown a whole lot more that the platinums. The black crown kind of tastes like it has a hint of whiskey in it. I thought it was good but won't be buying much of it. Its too full to drink heavily with it and i dont casual drink much now and when i do its with liqour

I actually really like Platinum. It and Land Shark is all I buy now. I'm not big on a beer with a strong aftertaste.

I remember that stuff. I haven't seen it around in a long time. Like you say, it was ok but nothing great.

Budweiser seems to like their gimmicks. (American Ale, Select, Platinum, Lime...etc.)

I like Platinum, too. I think its the best Budweiser product with the Black Crown being 2nd. It just has a combination of going down really easily and being fairly strong. Not really a beer you drink unless you're trying to get drunk.

Yup. I drank like 3 the other night while I was cooking dinner and found myself with a decent buzz. If I'm not mistaken it's 6%.

My everday beer is Budweiser. I can get a 36 pack at Sam's for a little over .50 a beer! Unbeatable.

The only Bud spinoff product that I thought was ever worth half a damn was American Ale. Everything else they do isn't worth the time or investment. You'd think a billion dollar company like Inbev could find a good craft beer recipe to slap a Bud label on but apparently not.
