Aaron Boone could turn the Rockies around some if he brings his players with him! Besides bad pitching the 2025 Rockies OPS+ is 70 It would be hard to win with 5-Paul Skenes on the mound.

One thing I do like about the 40yo Warren Schaeffer is that he is a workout freak and it is nice to see a fit younger manager vs the typical pot bellied middle and old age managers.

Not Black's fault. I went through this same thing years ago with the Guardians when Dolan refused to keep any good players and wouldn't spend money.

Won't disagree with that. But no current manager could win with this Rockies roster.

So Black shouldn't be fully blamed when ownership have been nickel & diming things for years.

You should know this, doesn't matter which sport if a team doesn't have talent doesn't matter who the coach is.

but when a team is this epically bad, they have to make some changes... not surprising that the he would get fired...

problem is though, that you kind of took away the one person that could rally this team to maybe a 10 win month here or there...
