Jed doesn't follow recruiting so he's never hear of these guy's before. I wasn't implying they aren't worthy of the rating, just that they haven't got much time on the field being underclassmen and all as Scotch stated. I don't even know who was redshirted. Rodriguez has got some time in at OT, but Ankrah was from the 09 class.
Nothing wrong with getting to know the players that make up the complete roster is there?
I know not every guy will pan out, but following recruiting for me is similar to following the Huskers drafted to the NFL and how well they do.

I know who all of those guys are. I know them because they actually put on a college helmet and are on a college roster. I just don't care about high school kids. Especially high schools kids that have a likelyhood of turning down millions and millions of dollars at about 2%.

I understand your viewpoint Jed, not everyone gets into it. Not a big deal for those that don't. I don't really care for HS football myself unless I'm watching at the venue.

I really think Bubba is going to play baseball for NU, and the draft just might reflect that. An MLB team would not blow a draft pick on a kid that has his mind made up to play college, at least my team wouldn't. He could play some Foosball too, but I don't know how he would fit into the QB line up, unless of course he somehow injures his leg, then he would for sure start for us

The one and only reason Bubba would drop in the draft is if those teams don't have the kind of money it would take to sign him. I doubt Bubba has made his mind up on college. He has probably made up his mind on a dollar amount and use college A's leverage and a backup plan.

I wouldn't.

especially if there was a good chance I could get the money anyway later

If he gets badly injured playing football, he may lose his chance to get the money later from baseball.

I have said this before, and I know you guys think I'm crazy........and I probably am crazy............but I would turn down the money to play football for Nebraska and risk getting injured.

I would not turn down the money to play for any other college team though.........it wouldn't even be a decision for me in that case.

But I love the Huskers so much, there is just no dollar amount that could take away an opportunity for me to play for them.

Too bad I'm only amazing at pleasing women with my 1.5" weiner, making it as good as much larger sizes.

Does KC have enough $$$ to sway his decision? I dont think so.... But they must plan on it or they wouldnt have wasted the pick....

I think what's amazing is kc took a position player. They are deep in hitters but I think Jed or jack john mark could make the starting rotation or least long relievers....
