Anytime I hear the name Bubba I think of the black dude on Forrest Gump. Then you add in the "experts" saying how athletic Starling is. I automatically think "black guy".

I don't necessarily hate recruiting. I just hate the hype and anointment of "the next Frazier/Tebow/Young/Sanders/insert great player here" attitude before they ever put a college jersey on.

I am about the bottom line and that is my favorite teams.

Bubba Starling is a QB recruit who might come to Nebraska if he turns down millions of MLB money. He is the 2nd best QB coming in behind Tyson Broekemeier

Jed doesn't follow recruiting so he's never hear of these guy's before. I wasn't implying they aren't worthy of the rating, just that they haven't got much time on the field being underclassmen and all as Scotch stated. I don't even know who was redshirted. Rodriguez has got some time in at OT, but Ankrah was from the 09 class.
Nothing wrong with getting to know the players that make up the complete roster is there?
I know not every guy will pan out, but following recruiting for me is similar to following the Huskers drafted to the NFL and how well they do.
