I remember when I turned 21 we went bar hopping in Lincoln and ended up walking into Main St.

There was a $5 charge at the door to get in, which we just paid without asking any questions. And then the guy standing there picks up a platter of little baby shots that had no alcohol in them at all and said, "this is what you get for paying the $5."

We literally paid $5 just to be in that place and there were no deals or anything. And I didn't have any fun there. And we left moments later. And I've never went back there.

When we paid that $5 cover to get in the door the first thing I did was ask if there were any specials and the bar tender said, "we have a $5 lemon drop shots right now."

I said "mmmmmmmm no thank you" and we walked out the door. There were hardly any people in there either. It was bone dry en shit.
