3 Years, $9.5 Mill. I don't hate it with the increased cap. I figure the guys that need to know about the finances were well aware of what they were doing when they made this signing.

Our D should be pretty stacked next year. Could we be looking to move somebody on our blue line?

I hope to god Greene gets moved..I like the Bryce deal though..if I were to guess I would say he turned down more $$ to return here. Hard to believe no other team offered him more then that after the postseason he had.

I have a strong suspicion somebody is gone. If/when we bring back Fayne we have 8 guys on D. The defensive corp we start the season with may not be the one we end with. I just hope Larsson is our 6th guy instead of Greene.

We might not be young on D right now but Fayne is young , Larrson is really young...factor in that we have prospects like Taormina , Urbom and Corrente with a little experience which helps as well.

2-3 years down the line we'll be able to get a better read on these guys..and with Marty back for 2 more Id rather have the experience in front of him over the youth.

Green screwed in Finals. If he + someone else go in trade for B. Ryan I wouldn't mind it. But this is in case Parise is gone.

I agree with wanting Zids gone. Buddy of mine brought up a great point, you ALWAYS notice Zids. Either he is making a great play on offense or he makes a horrendous play on D. The less you notice guys on D the better. Especially if Tallinder is healthy and Larsson or Fayne are ready to make the jump to being our offensive guy, Zids is expendable.

I don't necessarily mind the cap hit to be honest, but the blueline is looking way, way too crowded. This is pretty much exactly what I thought Bryce would get. We also need to keep him happy since god father lou made him fake an injury for a season. jkjk. With Fayne back, you've taken Larsson's spot.
