Just read th story. Dumb, but he is frustrated. What do you want. i am not going to crucify a guy for getting frustrated and mad at himself and smacking his bit against a wall. It happens to all good players. Not everyone is under the microscope every second though. he will be fine and work out his funk. He isn't going anywhere with Werth out for so long.

Rookies have bad days. Quit throwing a hissy fit just because you're a 19 year old kid and some seasoned pros made you look silly. Learn from it and make adjustments like a professional. You're at a level now where pure talent isn't enough. Yes, sometimes seasoned pros go off in the dugout when they're very good players and things aren't going well. They've earned it. He hasn't. Just shut up play hard and learn.

Pujols got paid. Maybe he doesn't have the passion. If he were moping and sulking and whining to the press, I would have a problem. lashing out in frustration, in his dugout does not bother me. Maybe it is just me.

That's right. There's the difference. Pujols is a professional. If anybody had a right to have a moment it was him. He's earned that right, but he is showing class through his struggles. Harper is acting like beat because for the first time in his life he isn't a big fish in a small pond. Learn from it, make your adjustments and shut up. You haven't earned the right to act like a seasoned veteran.

Nobody earns the right to go off in the dugout because they are not happy with their performance. I still like Bryce Harper, and I don't want to judge him on this because we don't know how he actually got hit himself with the bat. But if he threw the bat at the dugout wall as hard as he could out of frustration then he isn't going to be gaining or earning respect from me.

I wasn't saying he's been talking crap. I'm saying quit doing stupid shit like throwing a tantrum just cause you're getting schooled by some big leaguers. He's a 19 yr old kid with lots to learn. He needs to be glad he's even given the opportunity to be here at all, let alone at 19 and learn from it rather than act like he thinks he should walk right in and play with kemp and Hamilton.

Yeah I've lost my temper, but if I were in his shoes I'd just be grateful to be where I am instead of acting like I should walk right in and be an MVP. Too early in your major league career to be throwing a tantrum like that. You just look like a spoiled child.
