A realistic floor for Kennedy 3 years from now (Marcums current age) is similar production to Marcum..... but over about 400 more innings.
Austin Jackson on the other hand is already a better player than Aaron Hill. And he is still a year or 2 away from his prime

So...we're allowing speculative analysis....
So...top prospects, who I excluded...now count.....which doesn't really help the Yankees...unless you want to include a guy in the low 40's of BA's top 100 as a "top prospect"....which will hurt the Yankees in this even more...
We could also include some of the 1st rounders I deliberately excluded, guys like Price...the Rays still had a choice to make there...they still had to identify, and develop that talent...giving them zero credit for it it pretty stupid...
I'm using speculative analysis in areas of common sense - if Kennedy puts up even remotely similar numbers in his age 28-30 seasons as he did in his age 25-27 seasons (is that an unrealistic assumption?), he'll have similar production to Marcum, but have thrown about 40% more innings
In a matchup of which draftee was a better draft pick, my logic would lead me to choose Bryce Harper. Yours would say Shelley Duncan.
We'll just have to agree to disagree I guess
Sorry if I'm not of the opinion that one player was a better draft pick than another player just because he's older
