I would agree with the projections on their Production in terms of ERA

The only thing I would disagree with is expecting a Pitcher to not have a hiccup or 2 with injuries in a 3 year time frame.

The Human Body was not built to throw in volume like that. I understand some are better at avoiding it..but I think projecting a Pitcher to Pitch full seasons for 3 straight years in the future is not something I count on. For just about anyone. Even if they had not had one yet..

Im fine with Projecting IP in a 1 year frame...but I think driving farther ahead and projecting Health for Pitchers is not as bankable as Production..

ummm marcum is still pitching...so he can be expected to have "hiccups" as well...only thing their production to this point has proven is that kennedy is approximately as good as marcum...and marcum is more prone to "hiccups"

Marcum has 200 more IP and is 3 years older

I don't think it's a stretch to say that Kennedy will average more than 67 IP over his next 3 years

A realistic floor for Kennedy at age 31 is similar production to Marcum over far more innings

A realistic ceiling for Kennedy is better production than Marcum over far more innings

For the sake of this argument, I used the floor. Just to illustrate that barring something extremely unforseen (Kennedy would either have to turn into Rickey Romero as far as effectiveness goes, or into Carl Pavano as far as health goes), he's better than Marcum
