It's true, and Bruce was pretty much saying the same thing when he called out the Habs fans by saying that they wouldn't be protesting if it was Gill hitting Krejci like that.

It's always easy to say stuff like this when it's not happening directly to your own team, but that tune would change quickly if the shoe was on the other foot.

I'm not saying that the fans in Montreal haven't perhaps taken it a bit too far. I'm just saying that everyone complains about shit like this when it happens to their team, and Bruce is no exception. He's had his fair share of calling out other players and the League for shit that got him pissed off.

As to Bruce, in a league that releases little information and is filled with boring/robotic interviews, I like Bruce. The guy will tell you what he thinks. It may not always be right, it may be crazy biased at times, but the guy doesn't bullshit around and he has the best winning percentage among active coaches. He also toiled for years in the AHL, so you know he knows physical hockey. He doesn't get enough credit in my opinion.
