Draft weekend probably isn't his favorite time of the year given the overall reaction to his selection when it was made, but he was probably better off not expressing his feelings about the draft "experts" publicly. There was no upside to it for him.

This guy is an idiot. I'm guessing he is not a member of SEA because of his extraordinary spelling and grammar skills.

Meh. I like when players open up. No one has ever accused of Bruce Irvin of being a Rhodes Scholar. But I like that he speaks his mind. I like when all players do.

I don't mind it, not sure if I like it when "all" players do it. Some guys just don't offer much that's worthwhile, but it doesn't bother me unless it's detrimental to the team.

Completely agree. As long as they aren't being destructive to the team, more power to them.

Ya know, it's good. Exciting. Wife is flying back early next week to make final design choices on the new house, and we are leaving Kentucky 15 June to make our way back there. Should be closing within a few weeks of then, hopefully sooner than the projected 15 July date. Tell me when you can fly back for a game!

I am 100% going to a game this year out Seattle. Only question is whether it is a +1 or not.

OK for those of us not in the know, where is your new house located? Kentucky? Or...?

Yeah, sorry. Flyer and I have known each other about 15 years. (Yikes!)

I'm an Army guy, grew up in Tacoma (Franklin Pierce HS) all through formative years, then went to West Point and graduated in 1993. Been in the Army ever since, currently at Fort Knox but moving back to WA this June. Will be stationed there at JBLM and buying a house in Roy. Have been a season ticket holder since 2002!

Thank you for your service. This is not condescending at all. Enjoy your new station......

I kind of don't blame Irvin for getting mad. When Clack was drafted everyone looked at Bruce, I myself looked at Bennett and Avril. He is a big Guy at 6 foot 3 270+ but is not a OLB. The hawks like speed on the edges for the OLB and Irvin is as fast as any OLB in the NFL. Clark will be used i believe in the same type or role as Bennett has been. I do not think he will ever play OLB for more than maybe a couple plays per game at most (On early downs). Bennett and Avril are no young pups at 29 years old each, Clark will be replacing one of those two in a couple seasons as a starter ( hopefully if he pans out that is )

I am Excited to see a return of the Return game this season with Lockett :D

Sorry just had to add that last bit.

Yeah, I also don't see the pick as having any implications on Irvin. Clark is a full time DE. Irvin has been playing OLB for a couple years now.
