The players protests have never been about disrespecting The Flag. It's an attempt to bring awareness to trigger-happy cops killing innocent people.

Hmmm, when they protested the national anthem during the Veterans Day celebration when many elderly vets were being honored by all except the kneeling asses, that was disrespecting those guys and the flag they care so deeply about. Many had friends and family come back in a coffin draped with that flag.
That was a poor choice by the kneelers. They should have stood in unison with the rest that day.
