I would say last year the Falcons had overall competent QB play, even though Cousins was a turnover machine half the time, he was still a big step up from Ridder/Heinicke. If the Falcons keep him maybe he’ll get going with Penix at QB but I don’t trust him, he’s been really underwhelming so far, really wish we had gotten Micah Parsons with that pick.

Yeah about that, what are they going to do with Cousins? He fell off that cliff fast af man.

He probably gets traded out of the AFC; Redskins, Falcons, Eagles, Rams. idk.

Well that's a fucking stupid article.

Baker was traded for peanuts. Hell he was traded for peanut shells.

Garrett and Baker could have been gay lovers and Baker would have been traded the same. Cleveland was done with him.
OK? Doesn't hide the fact Myles wanted Watson over Baker which clearly in hindsight was a mistake. and good chance Myles speaking his mind set the wheels in motion, too.

Lots of talk on Washington boards about Garrett. They have the cap space and desperately need impact players, especially on defense. But picking 29th I doubt they have the assets to make this trade without forfeiting multiple 1sts and other picks. Even though the window is open they still have a lot of holes and plan to build through the draft. But I do expect a lot of FA signings out of Washington, don't expect this trade.
If I were Washington, I'd kick the tires on Trey Hendrickson. I don't think the Bengals will offer him a fair deal, and I don't think it's in their best interests to have him hold out. I think they would move him for a second. He's not the player that Garrett is, but he's been one of the top 3 pass rushers in the league over the last 4 seasons - And he was the best this past season even though he played on a historically bad defense that had no other threat.

Huh? Micah Parsons with that pick? You lost me.

How so? When we drafted Pitts, Micah Parsons was available as were plenty of other guys who’ve turned out way better than Pitts.
Oh Pitts. Sorry, I saw Penix and was confused, lol. I know we talked about Pitts some earlier and that's who you mentioned, just didn't put two and two together. Didn't get great sleep last night lol.

I liked the Penix pick from the start and I think he’ll be very good, the Falcons got criticized a lot for it but I think it was very smart to get our QB in last year’s QB heavy draft, especially given how Cousins fell off last year. I really look forward to seeing what Penix does next year since he‘s clearly the guy now.
Like I say, I’ve liked most of the Falcons draft picks over the last few years, Pitts was the one big misfire.
