Me too. Not sure if a trade up was necessary. Late 5th round, so no biggie ultimately.

i don't get it, but plays up to a zone offense.

Took a look at him and he does fit what I wanted. I wanted (1) an OL (2) with experience (3) at multiple positions (4) including Tackle (5) with enough mobility to be effective in outside zone. But I wanted to go substantially higher than this and I wanted a guy who would primarily be a Tackle. Still, I think it's a decent pick for what it is. I think he's IOL depth to replace whoever doesn't get the new scheme.

Like I said in another thread - he is the only college lineman who played a lot of outside zone in college and spent at least one entire season at Tackle, Guard and Center. He is setup to be like the 6th man on a Bball team.

and while I am ok with Cushenberry he needs to step his game up in year 3... He can use the competition and he will be entering his 3rd season in which he has to show he has gotten better and not stayed the same. He is ok for now but he can't stay what he is if he wants to be here for the long haul.
