From Big Ken's cheap seats.....last week's game against the Chiefs was an excellent team effort and it killed all of the Broncos momentum, losing it as hard they played. They just couldn't get up for a game with Jets.

I blame Joseph for that. A coach needs to do something to re-instill confidence and a little bit of pride and swagger. They had nothing to be ashamed of with that effort against KC and the staff really needed to impress that on every player.

We get the Chiefs next Sunday night. I'm prayig that BB comes up with a scheme that will allow the DL to get a couple of heavy whacks on Mahomes. He's been lucky as hell that no one's really laid a lick on him and his confidence is in the stratosphere. Just need to bring him back to terra firma.

Can’t believe Elway gets paid as what the top GM and his decisions so far this year are amateurish at best

Bradley Roby has a 8.5 million cap hit/base salary

Just let that sink in

I honestly don’t have a problem with this. It was his 5th year option, 1 year at 8.5 mil. You had to see if he was a long term starter or not. Not like we locked him into 5 years at 8.5 m a year.

Honestly i feel like when bowlen stepped away with health his family just sorta gave the team to elway since he is the face of the broncos history. Im nervous about the ownership of this team going forward.

Looking at this simplistically ( and just trying to stay positive )

Roby 8.5 million + 3.8 unused cap room = Patrick Peterson

Derek Wolfe:

"It's the same s--- every week, I'm tired of talking about the same s--- the last two years."

Wolfe said that while he believes the team can "regroup," there's "something much deeper" happening that he "can't even really understand."

Sorry speaking about pro personnel
Not sure how we solve the QB position
This team has no heart. The young kids are too young to be leaders
The Qb inherently is your leader

Chris Harris Jr:

“”Robe’ has got to show up, man. Make a play or something,” said Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr., who then barked across the locker room, shaming Roby into explaining himself. “You’ve got to face the music, big ’un.”

We’ve got to start over from square one. Figure out who wants to be here,” said Harris, vowing not to quit, insisting he’s all in.

But can the same be said about all of Harris’ teammates?

“I don’t know. I hope so,” said Harris, who will effort to rally a discouraged locker room. “We’ve got to change something. And we’ve got to win. It’s not looking too good right now.”

Trade Von. Suck for the top pick.
Blow this thing up.
It’s geared towards offense anyways.
Elways wasted 3 years of Miller anyways

Wolf just answered his own Question .

The same old shit the last two years . Woods sucks as the DC ! Move him back to the CB's

As to the Coach I say fire him now or keep him till the end of season

If only it were that easy.

Don't think Peterson was on the table when we picked up Peterson's option.

Also, you have to factor in what we have to give up for PP.

If PP was a FA and so was Roby and we had our pick obviously we would drop Roby in a heart beat for PP.

It isn't as easy as just picking and choosing who you want for the same cap hit.

You don't trade an elite pass rusher still in his prime.

That is the Jon Gruden way!

You build around him. Blow some of the other crap up around him.

Even just 5 games into the season you can see this team isn't really going anywhere. Keenum has quickly shown not to be the answer, and our defense is swiss cheese. It goes beyond the play calling too because yesterday was absolutely pathetic giving up all those massive plays on the ground, and making the Darnold+Andersen connection look all-pro.

I just don't understand what the point might be in continuing the charade with Vance Joseph.
