So Denver is going to trade with the Giants to move up? I don't think any of the QB's in this years draft is worth trading up for. Not if you have to give away an extra #1 and #2.
The Broncos certainly don't have a recent reputation of developing QB's.

If he's your guy, you go get him. I think Rosen is far and away the best QB in this class.

They'll have to give a lot to move up to #2. Maybe Rosen is worth it, maybe not. They'd be mortgaging short term to find out. It might be worth it I guess. I wonder how sold the Giants are on him. It'd be awsome for me, as a Colts fan, if the Giants would go another direction and Rosen would still be there at #3. I'd love for the Colts to trade back, get Nelson and a few extra picks.
So is it over for Lynch? That surprises me because I thought he'd be pretty good. He's only played in 4 or 5 NFL games with only 128 pass attempts. Completion % isn't bad at 62%. I know numbers don't tell all, but I have to think he'll get a shot to play with another team at some point. I doubt the Broncos keep Siemian, Lynch, Ossweiller and Rosen on the team. Are any of them UFA's?
It'll be interesting.

I'd be happier if we move down a few spots if we were going to take Nelson there.

He is a rare case interior OL that doesn't come around often. It's hard to find many flaws in his game, but I'd feel better moving down if we go interior OL that early.

If he was for sure going to be there around #10-ish it would be nice to move down, pick up an extra second, then trade the two seconds to go back into the first again. Get him and a quality OT maybe.

Hard to say without FA but wouldn't be a bad idea. Might not have to trade back into round 1 either depending on targets and who is still on the board and where we are in the second.

That being said I've got this feeling we stay put this year in round 1 (but pure guess, ask me again in a few months)

For some reason I weirdly put a quote right in the middle of an edit. I think I started to respond and had a brain fart, and my first attempt at a post was saved. Ah well. I'm just really sick of seeing Max Garcia at guard. I'm sick of seeing the Offense sputter in general - seems like they can't actually get all 11 guys to play at the same time. But I'm really sick of seeing the O-Line look half ass decent except for the defender that comes screaming in over/around Garcia's crumpled body. I can also remember OAK just plowing through our D with a 5 and 6 man O-Line when Musgrave was their OC. And I can't help drooling at the thought of Quenton Nelson lining up in place of Max Garcia. Maybe we can get a guy like Orlando Brown at RT too.

I would really like to see a TE drafted. I have a favorite, but I doubt we draft him as it would take our 2nd rounder and that will probably be earmarked for either Oline or defense.
