I like Brandon Scherff a hair more but Nelson is really good

If we don;t need a QB at #5. #5 should be a hot community with all the QBs still on the board except 1.

I would say yes on Nelson. He is as good of an interior OL as I have seen in ages. I wouldn't take him that high though for us.

If we get Cousins I would not mind a trade back but Elway sucks at draft day trades.

Fortunately for us Broncos fans, our team rarely has the opportunity to draft in the top 5. I want the Broncos to make the most of this pick and land us another Von Miller type of contributor. I hope they stay with this pick or even move up slightly if there's someone that they just need to grab. A pick this high just doesn't come around for us very often. Let's hope we don't see one this high for years to come.

I'm a little surprised at how high people are on Connor Williams in here. I like him but I don't think he is a top 5 pick. Not even sure he is a top 15 pick.

To me Allen is the Freak . IMO he will take at least a year and Broncos fans had a taste of Manning and now want that again so I dont think anyone wants to wait 4 years for a QB .

Josh Allen has freak tools. I know a lot of people don't have trust in us developing QB's but IMO we have more so made a poor decision in who we have brought in moreso then actually not developing QBs.

Allen isn't as safe as perhaps a Josh Rosen, but no QB is 100% safe...



If we took Minkah Fitzpatrick it wouldn't be the position of need at #5 we need, but he is a FREAK! So I would be fine with it... (Excuse my love for DB's) Imagine a DB like him with a good pass rush getting the D back to the way it was. I don't think it happens but we are gonna have some nice options at #5 and options to move down if we dont want to go the QB route.

Tenn CB Rashaun Gaulden declared, IMO way underlooked prospect this year. Would have liked to see him stay but he might be my fav DB not named Derwin James. (personal fav) Minkah Fitzpatrick is easily the best DB in this draft. Derwin James instincts reminds me of Ed Reed/Eric Berry. (Not putting them in that category but he has freak like ability) Only issue is his FR year was his best. He was hurt as a SOPH, and his JR year they didn't use him as well and was on an FSU team that struggled.

Good Point on QB's who's fault is it JE or Lynch on work ethic and maturity? No doubt Lynch . This is why I'll be more confident if we select a QB high. Hands on looks should help us evaluate these guys better and hopefully avoid a mistake.

I saw a guy in the East West game - that replaced Lynch two seasons ago - broke all of Lynch's single season records - and managed to look - poorly placed by talent in this game.

Also - One of the punters in the East West game was Shane Tripuka - grandson of Frank Tripuka - the guy who had to give up his retired jersey number for Peyton Manning to use - and in the Bronco's Ring of Fame.
