RoJo or Sony in the 2nd???? Can you go wrong with either?

How about a trade back and we end up with

Hernandez
RoJo/Sony
Washington

We really need both.... Another inbetween the tackles guy once CJ is off the roster and the dual threat weapon we as fans have been wanting for years and years and years and years. (Cough Cough Kamara, among others we have pleaded as know it all draft gurus ;))

Good point. I guess I just view Booker and Henderson as guys who can be a bit of a duel threat. Not to Kamara level but at least a little something. If Anderson is gone we really have nothing consistent up the middle. I just would rate that one as a bigger need over the specialty player at this point.

If we get Cousins this wouldn't be a bad start to the draft at all. Gives him some nice weapons especially that Thompson type weapon that I think could even be better in Jones/Michel. Then Washington being added helps replace Sanders being gone with that good route runner with hands with a little bit of quickness to get open in a hurry. Plus Hernandez added to that OL would just be fun to see.

Yes- I would agree with this. Booker and Henderson are good receivers out of the backfield as well. Obviously no the playmaker a Kamara is, but....

New mock on NFL.com has us getting Cousins and taking Minkah Fitzpatrick - S, Alabama, and maybe converting him to CB.

They also have us taking D.J. Chark, WR, LSU in Round 2 and Tyrell Crosby, OT, Oregon in Round 3.

I'm not a fan of this mock. I like Minkah Fitzpatrick. I just don't think CB is his best position on the team. He fits more that hybrid type player that you can bring to help lock down a TE/RB or even a WR if need be. He can also though be that guy playing that deep safety look and using his athleticism to go make a big play for the defense. If we are going for a Safety though I'm looking more as the Strong Safety type player. Justin Simmons is a much more natural FS than SS in my opinion.

D.J. Chark is not a WR I'm a huge fan of. I've watched him body catch way too many passes to think of him as a 2nd round pick. Other receivers I like a whole lot more if we are looking at the top of the 2nd round.

Crosby is the one pick I could get behind as I think he is good value in the 3rd.

I like Chark, don't love him.

Love Fitzpatrick and I am a DB whore, but I feel there are other needs there, but that being said he would be a fantastic player so I wouldn't complain.

Crosby I like a lot.

Would you add Fitz to the roster and subtract Talib - and think the salary cap space was worth it?

Which Fitz? Larry?

I haven't really taken the time to think about it because his dad said he would only play for the Cardinals or retire. But my answer would be no. I'd rather have the pro bowl CB.

Who is Mark Walton? Nice day 3 pick?

I did not know this

With the No. 67 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints selected running back Alvin Kamara from the University of Tennessee. The Saints reportedly traded their 2018 second-round pick and a seventh-rounder this year to acquire this selection from the 49ers.

Mark Walton is a RB from the U of Miami (FL) had a great SOPH year then was having a good season this past year before an injury to his ankle cost him the rest of the season.

Yes, good day 3 pick. Highly productive. Durability is a concern.

Not on the Davenport at #5 wagon yet. I do like him. Just not sure I want him at #5. Give me a month though.
