Denver Broncos: Top 10 QBs since John Elway retired

1) Peyton Manning
2) Jake Plummer
3) Brian Griese
4) Jay Cutler
5) Tim Tebow
6) Brock Oswieler
7) Trevor Siemien
8) Kyle Orton
9) Case Keenum
10) Joe Flacco

Two observations - I rated Griese over Plummer while the link had them the other way.

It's amazing Tim Tebow comes at at 5, but I can't really argue with it based on W/L record.

There is a lot of pain in that list.

I would put Orton and Keenum ahead of Siemian.

Griese never was any good after shoulder Ijorie his Rookie year was decent enough to win a lot of games ..

Seems the QB who threw the INT that ended TD’s career and injured himself tripping over the dog was ranked a bit high....

Griese still has the Bronco's team record for highest completed pass percentage - career.

But yes, he tripped over his dog and fell down the stairs. He hit his receivers in stride.

Griese started his Bronco career out great! I even bought his jersey which I don’t often do with QB’s.

1. Manning
2. Plummer
3. Griese
4. Tebow
5. Osweiler
6. They who shall not be named

I have mixed feelings about even some of these. Griese didn’t work our despite the roster still being pretty solid. But it did feel like we were in every game with him. As for Osweiler I will not forget the way he Bubby Bristor’d the team, keeping them afloat through a HOF QB injury. So he’ll always get some credit from me for that.

Danny Kannell didn’t make it. ;)

Gus Frerotte although a backup minus a few games was probably better than most of our bottom half.

I'm just appalled at the lack of respect for Steve Beuerlein

Don't forget Hugh Millen either.

Hugh Millen's son Clay is a possible CU recruit.

Huge Millen was not post Elway though. I did think about him and Shawn Moore though. Jarius Jackson came to mind for a split second.

Craig Morton should be on the list...and perhaps Steve DeBerg.
