The people bashing Purdy are dumb - he’s not the reason the Niners have struggled this year. The Niners have just had a slew of injuries to star players. Purdy has had a solid year overall, especially considering how just about every key player on offense has been hurt at one time or another

But he's not the reason they win either, which is the whole point. He's a game manager and due for most likely a ridiculous overpay of a new contract.

Really? Baker and Love are both game changers. Darnold and Geno are both a notch better than Purdy as well. I was much higher on Purdy, but man he has put up some stinkers as of late. When he comes off his rookie contract, he will have to do more with less talent around him. I just don't see him on the same level as these other guys at this point.

If I were a niners fan, I would imagine I would rather have Geno on Purdy's salary. As a seahawks fan there is no way I would want Purdy on Geno's salary. Darnold is the new hotness that Purdy used to be.

Purdy and Geno are about the same. Both make some boneheaded throws and both make some good throws. Same with Darnold too. There are very few QB's right now that can really throw a team on their back and the rest are about the same.

Of those 4 games the only one they had a better than decent chance in was the first one. And the Giants had a 2 to 1 edge in TOP.

I disagree. I think both Geno n Darold are better than Purdy.

It's true Deebo dropped a pass that hit him in stride in which he scores easy imo. But he short armed a pass to Pearsall that should've been 6 n that INT he threw was horrible.
