I'm not sure why so many guys have lost faith in Elway. He literally knows everything about Oz. He made Oz a fair offer and Oz balked. Well, Elway don't play that and sticks to his guns. He took this team from the dumpster to the dance and got us the trophy. He knows what he is doing

I would also add we maybe have the best coaching staff/FO in the NFL in knowing what a good QB looks like. I mean Elway and Kubiak both being actual QB's I'm guessing they know what it takes to make it in this league. So if Osweiler walks my guess is they have multiple plans of attack ready to go to keep this team competitive. We haven't lost the division since Elway came into town playing in one of the more competitive divisions in the NFL so just have to sit back and relax and see what happens.

I do think it is very likely Houston is not really that interested and that OZ is coming back. Everything has been a poker game, Elway called his bluff and the two sides will reportedly begin serious talks today.

I guess you have missed what Elway has said about Kaepernick. I'll give you the quote...

"I've always liked Colin. I think he's very athletic, and he's a guy that can make a lot of big plays. He's doing more within the pocket, which I think will continue to help him. He's a great athlete, and he's got that big-play ability to avoid things and make things happen."

Maybe that he had the worst second half QBR in the NFL?
Maybe that PFF rated his dee throws the least accurate of any NFL starter?
Maybe that he doesn't look natural running with the ball?
Maybe that he took a lot of sacks?

There are some things not to love. But I'll say what I did earlier - He waited 3 1/2 years to start and I think he showed enough to deserve a chance to be the leader of the Broncos O.
