Welcome to the board.

I think we keep 6, not including Slater. It might be too early to give up on Boyce. Although, if Tyms has out performed him.....then it's a toss up.

I I agree on the 6 plus slater. Tyms won't count and Boyce plays the 1st 4 games. If he has an impact It might cost Tyms. We could play the "shell game" with cut and resign later.

Agree. If we cut Tyms or Boyce, no chance of resigning them later. Other teams would grab them.

Boyce hasn't shown enough to take the roster spot. If Tyms were playing the 1st game, Boyce would be cut in preseason. He is getting a gift to stay and prove something in the 1st 4 but if he does not - who is going to want him? Cleveland? Carolina?

Boyce gone, team uses salary cap space to keep Tyms for now. There are particulars at "another" forum I am too lazy to look up now.

Salary cap is not an issue. Tyms will be playing for the league minimum. The Patriots are $13.2M under the cap before yesterday's cuts, so money is not an issue.

Belichick and Nick Caserio have been up all night going over every player cut from every team. The biggest thing is securing their own players for the practice squad. There's a lot of manuevering and phone calls to get guys they want from other teams too.

I guarantee you that BB told everyone on the team that no one is 100% on the team for next Sunday in Miami I expect BB to make no less than three moves to adjust this roster.

Will Tyms be reactivated under the revised drug policy? He should if Welker and Scandrick and 3 other guys will be.

Supposedly any retroactivity will only go back to the start of this league year. Tyms was notified of his suspension in February, and the league year began in March. So probably not.

So Manning gets his little buddy back early. No shock there.

So Tyms was taking legally prescribed meds and Welker was taking "molly" and Welker gets to play?
Goodell, you screwed the pooch on this one too. I get it, you're confused. Can you ask a twelve year old to figure this out for you? Gordon threatened to "lawyer up" Public opinion poking "around or about your buttocks?"

precisely what I've been saying for the past 2 days about Tyms. And Goofdell for that matter. What a pitiful fucking joke Goofball is.

Unfortunatly, Thompkins is gone, as we know, but Tyms had what 2 targets one reception for a 43 yard TD...

Good on yah, it was a Moss esque style deep 3 defender TD reception.

How the fuck did that kid come down with the TD ball? One of the best catches I've seen in the league in a long time.

If the line continues to improve and we get a deep threat with Tyms, think of what that's gonna do for Gronk and Wright!

Randy Moss spent some time with him in San Fran. - evidently the kid picked up a few things. He can play.

Thats what I'm talking about.
Saw a clip last night about the top 5 plays for New England so far this year and it was number 4.

I seriously would have put it no lower than 2, behind Jones blocked field goal.
