I was waiting for someone to start the thread since I've been bad luck.

Honestly, in my opinion, this was Cole's best game. He adjusted. He got a key strikeout when he needed it. He pitched well after things went wrong for him.

Also nice to see our guys capitalize a lot on opportunities, many of which the Brewers simply handed to us.

The winning streak continues, and so does grill's off time. Five days off now, he prolly needs to pitch soon just to get some work, but I am glad they got him some time to recharge just like Melancon a few weeks back.

All I have to say is the Pirates have the best record in baseball with almost half the season gone.
Well the Cards have to take the loss tonight but just being able to say that brings a tear to your eye!

This season is already a tremendous success... Even if they somehow miss the playoffs... Which in my opinion is not likely to happen.

And Hurdle was in that inning, too. Why would you pinch-hit for your cleanup hitter? With a guy who can't hit. And why is Harrison even on the roster right now?
