Well, this series is huge. Pity neither Cole nor Liriano will go for us, though, especially with Morton having a setback in his injury. Tonight will be especially difficult, with the unpredictable Locke going for us (and he doesn't look very good after one).

Hopefully, our bats stay hot.

This is the third inning out of four in which we've had a runner in scoring position. But Locke is up with two outs, so it's not looking good to bring him home.

The Pirates won't need to score very many runs to beat this hapless Brewers team. I believe they are only averaging about 2 runs per game.

Gallardo's control has been just about perfect tonight. He's been on the edges all night.

If they are the two wild card teams and tied, it would be head to head, so the Pirates would play the game at home thanks to their 4-2 season series win.

Pitcher's duel so far. Worley's been very efficient, keeping the ball on the ground and getting outs quickly. He's thrown 34 strikes to just 7 balls so far.
