A very risky pick. Hasn't thrown a pass in a year or two and played against second tier competition. Shanahan must like him though because he staked his job on this pick. I was hoping to get Jones

I agree he's a very risky pick. Lance does benefit from the offensive mastermind that is Kyle.
And a healthy SF defense doesn't hurt either. I believe Mac would've also been a good pick BUT most def a reach
