He signed a 4 year deal with one year left on his rookie contract and now has played the first year of that contract. So it was over two years ago he signed it, but he still does have a full 3 years left. He is at the very least a full year too soon to bitch, and more likely two years.

He's really in deep shit at this point unless the team has massive issues on Sunday.

I think the best thing the Seahawks can do is not give a inch. Make him pay those fines and lose those game day checks. Eventually he'll be back, not happy I'm sure. Needs to done to shut down any other player who is tempted to do the same.

If this story is true, I bet Allen is pissed. He has successfully kept his name out of anything like this with the team, and is known to let the people that he has hired (PCJS) just do what they think ia best for the team without interference from him.

Kam needs to fire his agent.

Scenario A: Kam's agent let him sign the deal he signed then told him this latest move was wise.

Scenario B: Kam's agent let him sign the deal he signed then didn't stop him from taking this latest move on his own.

Either way, that is terrible advice all the way around.

Well this is bad. Paul Allen is now officially pissed. He's been pretty laissez faire about running this team but now he's taking it personally. I could see him holding onto Kam's contract indefinitely so he doesn't get paid just to prove a point. And Kam deserves it.

Any team with even a rudimentary understanding of the cap knew that wasn't going to happen.
