I'm surprised again. I didn't think Kelly would get dealt but then again I didn't think Fisher would get dealt either.

None the less it is a fairly decent pick up and I wish him nothing but the best. He was always rock solid over his time in Ottawa.

I like Kelly. Good pickup for the B's. Who is Ottawa going to move next?

If it's Kovalev or Ruutu please not back to Pittsburgh. Thats the rumors i have heard here.

If the last 2 deals are any indication then my guess would be Chris Neil. He's the next guy to go imo followed by Chris Phillips.

Murray said he's not going to trade everybody but that he's just trying to "re-do" the budget.

If that's the case then there's 3 guys who stand out as trade bait to me and those players would be Neil, Gonchar and Kuba. I can almost guarantee that at least one of the 3 gets traded and since Neil is the guy easiest to move, it's probably going to be him.

After that Murray will turn his attention to the pending UFA's (Kovalev, Ruutu and Phillips).

Were definitely not done. We have a clusterfuck of forwards now. Expect Seguin to not get as much ice time, and expect probably Wheeler or Ryder along with a pick/prospect(s) to take a hike to bulster the blue line.

But, you have to get the feeling that this isn't the only move for the struggling Bruins. Rumor rumblings appear to have the Bruins slated to acquire Kaberle within the next 48 hours for a medley of players that vary from Blake Wheeler to Joe Colborne and picks--but nothing is set in stone.

I know this site isn't that credible, but I agree... I just hope losing to the Leafs didn't affect any Kaberle trade between the two teams. I'm assuming if it doesn't get done today, it's probably not happenieng between the two teams.

I'm not saying it's a bad move, but it seems to me that they added a type of player in which they already have a stockpile of.

I think its kinda dumb... Should just allow Seguin to mature this season, and not pick up another bottom six forward. Oh well, really eager to see if we acquire Kaberle.

I think of Chris Kelly as a Sammy Pahlsson type of player, he's a great skater who is responsible defensively and can pop the occasional goal. For a team gearing up for a playoff run, he's a nice addition.

I would of went D first. I woudn't have went the forward route unless it's a suitable replacement for Savard.

Do not give Burke his 1st round pick back. I'd also be hesitant to give up Colborne.

Come playoff time you can never have enough of these types of guys. In the playoffs it's often times the role players that need to pick up the scoring since the superstar forwards are cancelled out by the superstar defenseman.
