I swear to ye guise.......if there is one thing I know how to analyze, it's talent at the RB position. Newby is our next stud. He is going to be great. Best RB since Ahman Green.

Well since Heard was ranked higher in his class than this new kid is in his class and since we all know it is all about recruiting rankings and stars, if Heard couldn't start at Nebraska then how in the world could this new kid be a starter?

Never said it didn't matter. It matters to the coaches and the players. The fans? I don't get it. Following it and freaking out over the rankings is even more crazy to me. There are so many intangibles that I have brought up millions of times that is not factored in, and to be fair can't be factored in, to those rankings and stars that you ultimately just don't know what you are going to get. You can hope and dream and speculate all you want but you just don't know. I am and always have been a "show me" guy. I don't wnat people to talk about how they are going to so something, show it to me. You can talk all day and night but if you don't show me then it is just talk. Like with Bo, "the process", "execute", and all those other words and phrases he uses. Quit saying it and show it to me!!!! That is why I wanted a proven head coach in here when Bo was hired. Someone that has shown it can be done. Never said recruiting doesn't matter. I know you need players and quality ones at that, but to throw the current players aside the way some of you do for these new "studs" is just horrible in my humble opinion. Kiss their ass all day everyday and then when they decide to leave for whatever reason, "oh is was a terrible guy and a terrible player anyway this next guy is obviously better." Just ridiculous. And that is not just about Heard. It happens virtually everytime a player leaves.
