I have to wonder where he's at physically since he hasn't played in over a year. Ive seen some comments about him redshirting just for that reason alone

No doubt about that. Makes me wonder what percentage of kids actually choose to study up and retake the test vs. just going the JC route. I'm guessing it's happened before, I just don't recall ever hearing/reading about it.

He had to retake the ACT something like 3 times.

I read a post somewhere where a fan actually said Heard showed poor judgement because he passed on the JC option.

I'd beg to differ, and think his decision required great confidence, work ethic and determination.

JC route seems to be the easy way.......

So I like how he actually worked for a goal.....

However, I do have concerns regarding his training over the last year....

I read somewhere he was at a practice or two this spring, hadn't Heard if he looked out of shape or any detail there. I'm ready to say he's probably good to go and figure the Mooney guy is going to be ready.

lol @ "haven't HEARD"

He will be fine, he will be a great player for NU, and he still has all of his eligibility

It's gonna be really fun to see how it shakes out between Marrow, Heard, Abdullah, and Green. I don't think we've had this much potential at running back since the Osborne days.

I agree. Exciting times to be a fan. And those kids are excited too. Heard Abdullah on the Schick and Nick show the other day and he def sounded excited.

Above and beyond that, he seemed like a really cool guy. Also listened to the Daniel Davie seg and he was funny. He was saying you need to check out faketomosborne twitter...pretty good stuff.
