I would hope so.

Never understood why it's hard for some people, but I know it is. Not quite sure I agree with admittance being based on a standardized test..

It's too subjective. I didn't have any trouble but yeah I know what you mean.

And while Heard is best known for his speed on the field, it’s that same trait that gives him fits on test day.

“Yeah, that’s been the main thing, my time,” he said. “I just take my time and then toward the end [of each session], I still have 15 questions and I only have five minutes to answer them.

Haha I do that sometimes. Come on dude answer quickly!

most tests are subjective however the act and sat imo are not worth the ink or the paper they were printed doesn't matter what your test score is it matters whether or not you want to go to college and actually graduate its all on the person

Brasky - LOVE the avatar.

But I'm not sure I agree on the SAT and ACT tests being worthless.

I give training related evaluations (pre-tests) that are a lot like what you see on either an ACT or SAT all the time, and even though the old addage is correct for the amount of effort you put into anything pays off, I would say these tests aren't as bad as poeple make them out to be.

No, they're not the most accurate measuring stick of what you know or even what you NEED to know, but I think that when you have these scores decline every year (in general), that's a bad indicator.

Schools are now even offering test prep courses as elective classes you can take IN SCHOOL (never anything like that in my day), where they are doing nothing but teaching to the test. My daughter took one of these classes when she was in high school.

I looked it up and they provide ACT test prep classes in Youngstown's schools. Whether or not Heard took one is beyond me.

All I know is when I took the ACT, I forgot I had to take it that day, walked into it totally stoned out of my mind, didn't even finish it, and still scored a 27.

I doubt the content of the test(s) has changed much, so I'll go out on a limb here and say that the school system isn't doing these kids any favors with what they teach and how they grade.

Still, I really hope Braylon gets a 36 if he's really that committed.

Ya know...I laughed at that Vince Young Wonderlic thing when it was brought back up the other day. Thinking about it now, how do you think Braylon would do? :)

he actually used real numbers this time, sounding like he knew what was going on for once.. It'd be nice to have 3 stud RB's coming in, that's for sure.

That was classic irule. Also I guess I forgot that we're gonna have a stable of RB's comparable to the old USC stables... They could just plug guys in and there was no drop off. I would LOVE to see that for us. Problem is they're all smallish burner types... We need a big physical bruiser back to replace Burkhead.
