I read a report that says Donald Brashear is going to try cage fighting. It says he has a deal to fight for promoter Ringside MMA pending a medical examination in Quebec. If all goes well, he's scheduled to fight at Ringside MMA 4 in Quebec City on June 4th.
Me thinks he's going to be put into submission...

Well, Herschel Walker is doing it and he's in his late 40's!!! But I believe he's had martial arts training before. Brashear is going to find out it's way more violent than a hockey fight.

Very true, but Herschel Walker is a completely different speciman than Brash. Don't get me wrong, Brash is a big and really tough guy. Like you said though, Walker is a trained martial artist...Brash is not. It's a different game when someone's choking the fucking life out of you! LOL!

Walker is a black belt in a martial art, not sure which I think it is Tae Kwo Do but not positive. Brash doesnt have any formal training that I am aware of. It could end pretty bad for him.

In today's MMA, most fighters are trained in multiple disciplines...

NHL enforcer is not one of them...

Really depends on whether the matchmaker decides to be nice. If they give him any sort of rounded fighter with an ounce of MMA experience, he'll get taken down with a double-leg and submitted within minutes.

Don't forget about Walkers Olympic bobsled training... While it probably has nothing to do with MMA, it just shows the extraordinary athlete he is.
