OK.. after doing a bit more research on the CTE thing, one thing that stands out and kind of bothers me.
They can only determine IF some one had it after they are dead. And since they are primarily focusing on football players, might this lead to a bit of the witch hunt paradox?? IM not saying repeated blows to the head cant and dont have long term effects, but they are saying even multiple lesser shots to the head (ones that didnt result in a concussion) could be worse and actually cause a greater degree of CTE than one or two major concussions. If thats the case, I know at least my middle son is doomed, because not a month went by that I didnt have to wrap him upside the head.
Im also curious as to why this has not been found in alot of Boxers, wrestlers and for that matter professional stuntmen. If any one is guaranteed to wrap the old nugget hard and repeatedly, its a crash man.
